Next Harry Poter book should came out on july 7, 2007, they say. More recently, J.K Rowling said that 2006 might be “the year”, but nothing is sure yet. The author has made no formal announcement about the release date yet.

Anyway, things are not looking very well. Harry lost Dumbledore in the 6th book, after losing Sirius Black in the 5th. He seems very weak, unable to save Dumbledore or to stop Snipes, he is about to lose it’s mother protection – the one that saved him in the first place – when he turns 17 years, according to the last book. But, I’m sure the final will be great and happy.
I think the question is if Harry will lose Ron or Hermione, or maybe some adults arround him, like the Weasleys. Will Hermione fall in love with Harry? Or will she stay with Ron?

Microsoft is to cut adrift Internet Explorer for the Mac, says Matt Whipp on the PC Pro web site

Support for existing aplications will end 31 December 2005. From the end of january 2006, the browser will not be available for download.
Microsoft is recommending Apple’s Safari as an alternative.

Well, actually, it tries to upgrade it’s image while AMD still gains market share. Official tests show that Opteron and Turion 64 are faster and more reliable than any Intel processors. So, Intel came up with a new image strategy. “Intel Corporation and the BMW Group today announced a comprehensive partnership that includes technology, co-marketing and Intel’s sponsorship of the BMW Sauber F1 Team”, says the company.

Under the multi-year agreement and long-term technology partnership, Intel will support BMW in standardizing the IT infrastructure in the worldwide BMW Group data centers and in providing more than 3,000 dealers worldwide with innovative IT solutions.
